About the Role:
Join Wiggle Your Tail Pet Care LLC as a Dog Walker/Pet Sitter in beautiful Sarasota, FL! If you love animals and enjoy spending time outdoors, this is the perfect opportunity to turn your passion into a rewarding career.
Responsibilities:
- Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in a safe and enjoyable manner.
- Provide pet sitting services, ensuring pets are cared for in their own homes.
- Administer medications and follow specific care instructions for pets.
- Maintain accurate records of pet visits and communicate with pet owners.
- Ensure pets are exercised, fed, and have fresh water during visits.
- Keep the environment clean and safe for the pets in your care.
- Build trusting relationships with pets and their owners.
- Manage your schedule effectively to accommodate multiple clients.
Requirements:
- MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER
- Previous experience in pet care or dog walking preferred.
- Strong knowledge of animal behavior and basic pet care.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a passion for animals.
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be comfortable with lots of driving
- Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Current pet first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
