Senior Interior Designer

Jeffrey Fisher Home is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our small, high-performing luxury residential design studio in Naples, Florida. This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced designer who wants to work closely with Jeffrey Fisher, take meaningful ownership of high-end residential projects, mentor other team members, and contribute to the continued excellence and creative direction of a highly regarded design firm. About the Role The Senior Interior Designer will work side‑by‑side with Jeffrey to guide the design vision from concept through installation. This person will help translate creative direction into fully developed interiors, lead assigned projects with confidence, and ensure each project reflects the firm’s standards for beauty, craftsmanship, service, and execution. The right person brings strong design instincts, technical expertise, polished client communication, and an ownership mindset. They are energized by creative collaboration, but also have the organization, judgment, and follow‑through to move complex luxury residential projects forward. This role is ideal for someone who wants more than a narrow design execution position. In a small studio, your contribution will be visible and meaningful. Over time, this role has the potential to grow into broader studio leadership, with increasing responsibility for design direction, team development, client relationships, project execution, and firm continuity. What You’ll Do Collaborate closely with Jeffrey to develop and carry forward the creative direction for luxury residential projects. Lead assigned projects from concept through final installation. Develop design concepts, presentations, Lookbooks, drawings, schedules, specifications, and installation‑ready details. Source and specify furnishings, fabrics, finishes, lighting, art, accessories, wallpaper, drapery, bedding, window treatments, custom pieces, and architectural details. Present design concepts, materials, finishes, and solutions with clarity and confidence. Manage project timelines, budgets, specifications, approvals, open items, vendor follow‑up, and documentation. Coordinate with architects, builders, contractors, fabricators, workrooms, vendors, installers, and consultants. Conduct site visits, review progress, troubleshoot issues, and help resolve design or construction challenges. Partner with operations on installation logistics, delivery coordination, accessorizing, styling, punch lists, and photoshoot preparation. Serve as a polished point of contact for clients, helping manage expectations and deliver a high‑touch luxury experience. Mentor and guide those currently on the team, reviewing work for quality, accuracy, and alignment with the project direction. Step into a senior studio leadership role when Jeffrey is traveling or unavailable, helping maintain focus on priorities, project momentum, client communication, day‑to‑day decisions, and team follow‑through. Contribute to stronger systems, workflows, communication, and project execution. Who You Are You are a senior‑level designer who is both creatively strong and operationally steady. Qualifications 8+ years of professional experience in high‑end residential interior design. Proven experience leading luxury residential projects from concept through installation. Strong portfolio demonstrating refined design sensibility, creative range, technical ability, and experience with custom interiors. Excellent understanding of the full design process, including concept development, sourcing, specifications, documentation, construction administration, installation, and project close‑out. Strong knowledge of custom furnishings, textiles, finishes, lighting, millwork, architectural details, art, accessories, bedding, window treatments, and luxury vendors. Experience creating lookbooks, design presentations, 2D drawings, renderings, schedules, and detailed design documentation. Experience reviewing shop drawings, coordinating CFAs, tracking vendor details, and managing selections through approval and installation. Experience coordinating with architects, builders, contractors, fabricators, vendors, installers, and consultants. Strong client‑facing presence with the ability to communicate design ideas, project details, and recommendations clearly and professionally. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and design/project management tools. Experience with Asana, Studio Designer, or similar project management, specification, procurement, or financial tracking systems preferred. Excellent organization, prioritization, communication, and follow‑through. Experience mentoring, guiding, or reviewing the work of another designer. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred. Professional affiliations or certifications such as ASID, IIDA, or NCIDQ are a plus. Work Location & Travel This is an onsite role based in the Jeffrey Fisher Home studio in Naples, Florida. Reliable transportation is required for client meetings, vendor visits, site visits, and installations. Occasional travel may be required for sourcing, installations, client meetings, or project‑related needs.
