Lamar Estates, a reputable Assisted Living Facilities in Lamar, Colorado, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as Assistant Director of Nursing. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care and dedication to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to our residents

• Develop and implement effective staffing plans, schedules, and assignments to ensure adequate coverage and patient safety

• Conduct regular assessments of resident care and make recommendations for improvements

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimal care

• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care and services

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Colorado

• Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living setting

• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

• Familiarity with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
