Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CCU - Coronary Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/22/2026 - Duration: 16 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care Unit (Night Shift)/n/n Location/n Maryland /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 16-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Nights, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30); every other weekend and holiday required. /n/nJob Description/n Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Care Unit, specializing in critical care for cardiovascular patients. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CVICU, including familiarity with IABP and Impella devices. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide high-level care in a fast-paced cardiac critical care environment. /n - Monitor and assess patient conditions, particularly those with cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, and heart failure. /n - Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies. /n - Assist with bedside procedures such as central line insertions, chest tube placements, and bronchoscopy. /n - Care for patients on advanced mechanical support devices, including ECMO, LVAD, IABP, and Impella. /n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Active RN license in the state of Maryland. /n - ACLS, BLS, and CPI certifications required.
