In this role, you will play a key part in fabricating and assembling high-quality steel components by welding, fitting, and interpreting technical drawings while maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Base Compensation Base Pay: $29.00 - $29.00 / Hour Job Category: Fabrication Employee Type: Non-Exempt - FT Responsibilities Weld structural steel components using primarily MIG welders Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols Set up and operate welding equipment and tools Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Other duties as assigned Job Type and Hours Full-time Starting Salary: $29.00 per hour or DOE Expected hours: 40 per week Day Shift 2 Thursday 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM & Friday - Saturday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM & Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM Benefits Health insurance Vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) & Employer Matching Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Quarterly Production Bonuses Referral Program Requirements Knowledge of various hand and power tools used in welding processes Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately Understanding of codes and standards related to welding practices Ability to operate rigging equipment for lifting heavy materials Physical Abilities Lifting: up to 75 lbs infrequently, 50 lbs frequently Standing: Ability to stand greater than 75% of shift in an industrial setting PPE: Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment Summary If you have hands-on experience in welding, fitting, fabrication or are looking to start a new career in the trade, we encourage you to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr Kids for the Future
