Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | On-Call Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures including right and left heart catheterization
• Assist with cardiac stent placement and related interventional procedures
• Circulate procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Provide on-call coverage during weeknights and weekends as required by unit needs
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float between facilities within the state as assignment needs dictate

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of start
• Minimum of 2 years of total RN experience
• Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience (hard requirement)
• Prior travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers will not be considered)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days (required at time of compliance)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of RN experience with strong Cath Lab background
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
