Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

On-call requirement includes approximately 3-4 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call in an 8-week period. Weeknight call hours range from 9 PM to 7 AM, and weekend call hours are from 7 AM to 7 AM.

Job Description

The Preoperative / PACU RN is responsible for the care of patients before and after surgical procedures. This role involves monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and providing support during the recovery process. The RN will work collaboratively with surgical teams and ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and administer appropriate medications.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures.
• Provide post-operative care and assess patient recovery.
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and family members.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• Current certifications as required (e.g., BLS, ACLS).
• Experience in preoperative and PACU settings preferred.
• Completion of required health screenings and vaccinations.
