Job DescriptionAre you an experienced Site Supervisor with a proven track record of overseeing construction activities on major infrastructure projects? You will support the delivery of nationally significant D&B infrastructure projects in Ireland including metro, aviation, rail, water and highway schemes, ensuring site activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project requirements.Join our Project & Programme Management team and help close the gap to a sustainable future.Your new role As Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in the on-site delivery of major infrastructure works in Ireland, including metro, aviation, rail, water and highways schemes. You will work closely with contractors, designers, and client teams to ensure construction activities meet programme, safety, quality, and environmental requirements. You will act as the client’s representative on site, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance, and supporting the resolution of issues to maintain delivery momentum.Working pattern This is a site-based role, with a majority of projects delivered in and around Dublin.Your key responsibilities will be:Supervising day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and standardsMonitoring contractor performance across safety, quality, environmental and programme requirementsSupporting the delivery of works to agreed time, cost and quality targetsReviewing and interpreting drawings, method statements and risk assessments (RAMS)Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with health, safety and environmental regulations and project requirementsRecording site progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to reporting processesIdentifying, escalating and supporting the resolution of risks, issues and non-conformancesCoordinating with contractors, designers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and interface managementSupporting inspection, testing, and commissioning activities as requiredPromoting a strong safety culture and ensuring best practice is upheld across all site activitiesAbout youExperience in a site supervision role on major infrastructure or construction projects (e.g. rail, metro, highways, utilities or aviation). Enabling works experience preferableStrong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and site-based deliveryExperience working in a client, consultant or contractor environment with responsibility for site worksUnderstanding and application of relevant health, safety and environmental regulationsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentationGood communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholdersProactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to identify issues and support practical solutionsExperience supporting quality assurance, inspections and compliance activitiesKnowledge and experience of NEC4 contract suite, and commercial awarenessRelevant technical qualification (e.g. engineering, construction management) or equivalent experienceMembership of a relevant professional body (e.g. EI, ICE, CIOB, ICES) or working towards accreditationWhat we can offer youCommitment to your developmentLeaders guided by our Leadership PrinciplesA culture that welcomes you as the unique person you areInspiration from colleagues, clients and projectsThe long‑term thinking of a foundation‑owned company27 days annual leave plus bank holidaysMatched pension contributionsPrivate medical cover and life assuranceReady to join us?
