Senior Hydrogeologist

Senior Hydrogeologist Location: Los Angeles or Orange County, California Salary Range: $120,000 - $165,000 per year About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Hydrogeologist to join our internationally recognized environmental consulting team. This role focuses on groundwater investigations, aquifer and basin testing, and advanced hydrogeologic analysis. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in groundwater projects and a strong technical background in modeling and field investigations. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage projects involving aquifer and basin testing, pumping tests, and hydrogeologic characterization. Develop and apply groundwater models using tools such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW, and other industry-standard software. Interpret hydrogeologic and geochemical data to support water resource and contaminant remediation projects. Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with clients to deliver innovative solutions and maintain strong relationships. Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical development within the hydrogeology practice. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred). 10+ years of experience in groundwater investigations and hydrogeologic consulting. Proficiency in groundwater modeling software (MODFLOW, FEFLOW, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and client management abilities.
