As a Security Officer Patrol Reporting Associate in Saint Petersburg, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to provide outstanding customer service and communication while supporting daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, warehouse spaces, and perimeter points, with attention to changing conditions at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and/or vendors, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support shipping and distribution operations by documenting unusual activity, communicating with site contacts, and following post orders related to package handling areas, vehicle traffic, and delivery activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
