Project Manager/EstimatorEstablished recruitment firm GPAC has partnered with leading commercial drywall company committed to delivering exceptional quality and service to their clients.Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial drywall industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in drywall, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, gypsum walls, and related areas. Proficiency in OST/QuickBid software is required for this role.Key Responsibilities:· Estimate project costs and prepare bids for commercial drywall projects, including drywall installation, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, and gypsum walls.· Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather project requirements and ensure accurate estimates.· Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.· Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.· Oversee project execution, including coordinating subcontractors, managing project timelines, and resolving any issues that arise during construction.· Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address concerns, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.· Prepare and present project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders, providing updates on project milestones, budgetary performance, and changes to project scope.Qualifications:· Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial drywall industry, with expertise in drywall, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, gypsum walls, and related areas.· Proficiency in OST/QuickBid software for estimating and project management.· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to accurately estimate project costs and identify potential risks.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members.· Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.· Proven track record of successfully managing commercial drywall projects from estimation through completion.Education:A degree in construction management, engineering, or a relevant tenured employment experience is preferred.Benefits:· Medical, dental, and vision insurance· 401(k) retirement plan· Paid time off (PTO)· Performance-based bonus program· Vehicle stipend/reimbursement program and/or company carHow to Apply:To apply for this position, please send your updated resume and project list to View email address on click.appcast.io.
