Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical, Nights

Location

Dothan, AL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 48 hours/week scheduling may be available upon request

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient status using electronic medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required prior to start date (submissions may be considered with ACLS pending)
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
