Marketing Operations Manager II

DescriptionA client with Kforce is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager II to join their team in San Diego, CA.Summary:The client is reimagining how the community contributes to customer acquisition and AI-powered search. We're looking for a marketer who can build and scale our community activation strategy by growing authentic customer conversations and user-generated content (UGC) that helps customers while increasing our visibility in generative search.This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of Marketing, Product, Engineering, Content, Community Engagement, and Social. You'll own the operational engine behind community activation - driving community GEO initiatives, launching new platform capabilities, supporting the ongoing health and maintenance of our community platform, and activating customer content across the end-to-end customer journey. You'll partner closely with Product and Engineering to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and bring new community capabilities to life, while collaborating with Content, Community Engagement, and Social teams to create programs that inspire authentic customer participation.We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable shaping strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute: someone who enjoys solving operational challenges, keeping initiatives moving, and turning ideas into measurable outcomes.Key Tasks:* Build and scale the client's community activation strategy to increase high-quality UGC and improve AI search (Generative Engine Optimization) visibility* Design and run experiments to increase customer participation, UGC creation, and community engagement* Define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and launch community capabilities, including cross-posting and content syndication features* Help shape the community content roadmap by identifying opportunities for new customer conversations, content experiences, platform features, and engagement programsRequirements* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline* 3-5 years of experience in growth marketing, marketing operations, community strategy, product marketing, or another cross-functional role that bridges marketing and technology* Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Content, and other stakeholders, with excellent project management, communication, and technical collaboration skills* Experience designing, executing, and measuring experiments to improve customer engagement and business outcomes* Analytical mindset with experience defining measurements in an emerging innovative space to track performance, uncover insights, and inform decisions* Self-starter with a builder mindset who enjoys identifying opportunities to create new programs from the ground up, bringing structure to emerging spaces, and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver results* Deep curiosity about digital culture and evolving online communities, user generated content (UGC) with a strong understanding of what resonates with Gen Z and younger audiences; Able to identify emerging engagement trends and translate them into scalable community activation strategies that drive engagement and AI search visibilityJob TypeContractCompensation48 - $58
