Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: WI/Compact license preferred Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Interventional Catheterizations, Left/Right heart catheterization, Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal, PCI, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Rotablator atherectomy Description: Start date is ASAP (2 weeks from offer for compliance requirements). The shift is 4 x 10 hour days from 07:00 to 17:30. 1 year of experience is required; first-time travelers are accepted. The role involves floating into the Recovery unit as needed. Epic is preferred, but not required. Weekend requirement is every 3rd weekend. On-call shifts are required. Candidates must possess skills in End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Angioplasty, Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, and more. An understanding of procedures such as Cardiac Ablation, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, and Hospital Protocols is essential. All candidates need to demonstrate proficiency in various cardiology-related tasks and techniques. Good communication and teamwork skills are highly valued in this position. Candidates should have experience with adult patient care and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams and is committed to high standards of patient care.
