Title: Clinical Care LPN/LVN (Float)
Location: Huntersville, NC 28078 (On-site; may float to nearby clinics)
Schedule: Full-time (32–40 hrs/week), includes every other weekend; shifts typically 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours; some major holidays required
Contract to hire
Pay: $37.17 an hr

Job Summary

A-Line Staffing is hiring a  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)to support patient care in a fast-paced retail clinic setting. This is a  full-time contingent/contract role and is considered  safety-sensitive .

What You’ll Do

• Administer medications (oral, injectable, IV, topical) per scope/protocol
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs
• Support point-of-care testing and vaccine administration
• Perform phlebotomy as needed
• Document patient history, treatments, and outcomes in an EMR (Epic preferred)
• Provide patient education and connect patients to community resources
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked clinic environment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license (compact license must be issued in primary state of residence)
• BLS certification (must be valid through at least 30+ days after start)
• 1+ year related healthcare experience
• Experience in  Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
• Experience with  phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Comfortable using  EMR systems (Epic preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED

Note: Candidates whose experience is primarily  long-term care only (e.g., nursing home, home health, LTAC, SNF) may have difficulty in the MinuteClinic environment.

Training / Scheduling Notes

• 3 weeks of training/orientation (no planned time off that would interrupt training)
• Schedules are built in 6-week blocks after training
• Typical work week: 2–3 weekdays + every other weekend
• Floating to other nearby locations may be required
