Director of Maintenance for Assisted Living MUST KNOW ALF standards and be able to pass a LEVEL 2 background check.

As the Director of Maintenance for Assisted Living at Langdon Hall of Bradenton, you will play a critical role in ensuring the daily operations of our facility run smoothly and efficiently. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will oversee all maintenance and repair activities, manage maintenance staff, and coordinate with various departments to ensure the highest level of service to our residents.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all maintenance and repair activities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
Manage a team of maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping, dietary, and activities, to ensure seamless facility operations
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facility standards
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs
Collaborate with vendors and contractors to resolve issues and implement repairs
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards related to maintenance and facility operations
Requirements:
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (n/a)
