Tax Senior Manager

Overview Lead and oversee complex tax engagements for corporate, partnership, and individual clients. Prepare, review, and sign individual, business, and other types of tax returns for clients in various entities and industries. Work with the tax team to ensure the components of the tax process are performed, including tax planning, client interaction, and special tax projects. Look at tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied. Develop solutions and communicate those solutions to the engagement team and client. Manage client relationships by monitoring needs and building value into professional service. Guide staff through complex tax issues and mentor them to build strong communication skills, ownership, and a client-first mindset. Support business development by identifying prospective clients, preparing proposals, and representing the firm at events. Manage client relationships by monitoring client needs and building value into professional service. Manage client billing for accounting services provided. Guide staff through complex tax issues and helping them build strong communication skills, ownership, and a client-first mindset. Actively mentors and develops staff through training and providing constructive and timely feedback. Support business development by identifying prospective clients, preparing proposals, and representing the firm at events. Qualifications You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. You have an active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification. You bring 7+ years of public accounting tax experience. You have extensive knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations. You take pride in building strong client relationships and are committed to delivering exceptional client service. You bring strong communication skills that foster trust and collaboration with colleagues, clients, and partners at every level. You enjoy leading, mentoring, and helping others grow.
