Transportation Safety Services Consultant IIAs a Transportation Safety Services Consultant II, you will deliver Safety Services to our business units with primary focus on our trucking book of business. We are currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated and results driven individual to fill an open position in our Transportation Safety Services Division.Based on qualifications and experience, the base salary range for a Transportation Safety Services Consultant II is $82,400-$123,600.What You'll DoConduct onsite safety consultations to assigned clients while also evaluating underwriting acceptabilityRecommend safety enhancements and provide technical safety resources to customersComplete detailed reports to agents and underwriting regarding the account profile, risk improvement opportunities, and overall opinion of riskDevelop, coordinate and conduct safety seminars and training programs for customers to promote driver safety awareness and reduce claimsMaintain and demonstrate expertise in areas such as FMCSA compliance, fleet safety, driver management, safety culture development, general liability, and cargo securement/protectionWhat It TakesBachelor's degree or equivalent experience with emphasis in the trucking industryKnowledge of FMCSA regulations and fleet safety best practices.A minimum of 2 plus years of advanced knowledge in a safety department in the trucking industryEffective oral and written communication and human relation skillsCertified Director of Safety (CDS) through NATMI or willing to pursue designationHigh level of independence and self-motivation to work from home and manage a large geographic territoryAn acceptable motor vehicle record and ability to perform extensive travel over a large territory is required (60% travel)At Sentry, your total rewards go beyond competitive compensation.
