Field Service Engineer

Role Purpose & Key Responsibilities This position plays a key role in ensuring complex clinical oncology systems are installed, maintained, and supported to the highest technical standards across customer sites. Acting as an autonomous field engineer, you will be responsible for bringing new systems live, resolving technical issues, and maintaining long-term system performance for hospitals in your region. The role combines hands-on installation work, on-site and remote technical troubleshooting, and planned preventive maintenance. Engineers operate with a high degree of independence while remaining closely connected to a small, collaborative national service team. Please note the role can be based in Chicago, IL or St. Louis, Missouri and significant travel is required. Requirements Experience in a field-based technical role such as field service engineering, systems support, technical installation, or similar Strong analytical troubleshooting skills across IT/networked systems, hardware and software Practical, hands-on experience installing, configuring, and supporting technical equipment in customer environments Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, including in high-pressure situations Strong personal drive, team player and problem – solver Comfort working independently on customer sites and taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
