Responsibilities: • • Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly to maintain a smooth kitchen flow. • Organize and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in their designated areas to support efficient kitchen operations. • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment by regularly sweeping and mopping floors, and disposing of waste properly. • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and readily available for seamless operations. • Monitor dishwashing machines to ensure they are operating efficiently and report any malfunctions to the supervisor. • Support the kitchen team during peak hours by quickly and efficiently managing dishwashing tasks. • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about best practices and safety protocols in the kitchen environment. Qualifications: ESSENTIAL SKILLS: • High level of professionalism. • Excellent verbal communication skills. • Strong teamwork skills. • Strong organizational skills. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Past dishwasher or casual dining restaurant experience is a plus, but not necessary. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to lift and carry at least thirty (30) pounds. • Ability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping. • Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Compensation: $15 hourly to start
