Warehouse & Maintenance Operative

Job Description Job Description Job Purpose: Assist in the daily operations of our distribution center including but not limited to loading/unloading trucks, customer service and general maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities: Loading and unloading trucks of raw material via forklift Learn and recognize various parts and products Ability to use a variety of power tools and material handling equipment to perform duties Troubleshoot and repair basic maintenance issues in the Warehouse Basic welding skills Read and interpret customer orders to determine materials, process, and disposition requirements Data entry and reporting Package and handle UPS orders as needed Ability to follow safe production policies and practices Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Experience: High school diploma Commercial driver’s license highly desired. Perform routine clerical work in answering telephones, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record keeping. Fluency in Spanish a plus. Overtime hours may be required. Preferred Computer Skills : Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word). Ability to learn how to use ERP software to view and input data for shop order updates.
