We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician (CNC Mechanic) to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving a variety of production equipment to maximize uptime and ensure safe reliable operations at all times.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in industrial automation and electrical/mechanical systems, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and works well with production personnel to keep equipment running efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair

. CNC Machining centers

. Automated sand blasting systems

. Fiber and CO2 laser engraving systems

. Commercial air compressors and compressed air distribution systems

. Associated electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical eqpt.

Diagnose eqpt failures using electrical schematics, wiring diagram's, technical manuals, and diagnostic software.

Install, modify, and improve manufacturing dept. and fixtures.

Perform mechanical repairs including bearings, belts, and linear motion systems.

Troubleshot electrical systems including sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, servo systems, and motor controls.

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance according to established schedules.

Document maintenance activities, repairs and spare parts usage.

Coordinate with machine shop management to minimum downtime.

Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and recommend replacement.

Ensures all work complies with company safety procedures and applicable OSHA regs.

Participates in continuous improvement projects to increase equipment reliability and production efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Certification or equivalent training in one of the following.

a. Industrial Maintenance

b. Automation Technology

c. Industrial Systems Technology

d. or a closely related field of work

2. Strong mechanical

3. Working knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, and industrial machinery

4. Ability to read electrical schematics and some mechanical drawings

5. Basic computer skills for documentation and diagnostics

6. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work around industrial equipment safely.

Preferred qualifications:

1. 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience

2. Experience maintaining CNC machine tools/eqpt

3. Experience with Fanuc HMIs

4. Welding and fabrication experience

5. Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
