Senior Associate, Pyxis Analytics

Responsibilities The Senior Associate, GTM Analytics’ primary responsibility is to support the Commercial team by analyzing Pyxis’ vast consumer transaction database and generating compelling insights to support the commercial sales motion of our SaaS solutions. Specifically, this role will require extracting data from our data warehouse and generating a wide range of analysis (e.g., market growth rates, market share trends, pricing analytics, share of wallet) to be used during our sales pitches and for marketing content. Analysis Preparation ~(40%) Coordinate with Senior Director, Commercial to understand top near-term sales prospects Identify most compelling insights to generate for target prospects based on industry and / or company position Develop plan for cleaning and structuring required dataset, as well as approach to deliver analytics Project execution (~40%) Perform data analysis and/or aggregation utilizing our entire portfolio of consumer transaction datasets Build out checks to ‘test’ validity and rigor of any analytic output Marketing Support (~20%) Support Head of Marketing to identify compelling insights for Pyxis marketing content based on industry and / or data trends Generate analytics for recurring and / or ad hoc marketing content, e.g., annual industry reports, LinkedIn infographics, website blogs Qualifications Required Undergraduate degree in a highly analytical discipline (Computer Science /Physics /Mathematics /Econometrics) or equivalent 2+ years of professional experience with data science and statistical analysis in a business, marketing science or social science environment Proficient in SQL Strong understanding of database structures (Snowflake) Professional experience utilizing regex Preferred A Masters’ Degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Statistics, Physics, Market Research or related field Industry experience with consumer transaction data sources including consumer sourced panels for use in market measurement solutions Proficient in Python Experience testing large datasets for data quality and accuracy High levels of attention to detail, entrepreneurialism, and enthusiasm About Us Bain & Company is a global consultancy that helps the world’s most ambitious change makers define the future.
