Bus DriverForest Area Community Schools is seeking an individual to join our team of bus drivers. We are a small district in northern Michigan which serves around 500 students, PreK-12, in the communities of Fife Lake and South Boardman.Duties and responsibilities:Transport student(s) to/from their home to Forest Area SchoolsTransportation Monday - Friday; approximately 4 ½ hours per dayQualifications:Commercial Drivers License (CDL) w/school bus endorsement recommended but willing to train the right personAbility to work well with othersStrong desire to build and maintain positive relationships with students of all agesTransportation/Bus Drivers work closely with the transportation department and superintendent, and are compensated according to the AFSCME contract.
