Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the ER will be responsible for providing care to patients in a 24-bed emergency room setting. They will handle a variety of cases, including trauma, stroke, sepsis, CHF, and cardiac issues. The RN will work variable evening and night shifts and must manage their own ER holds.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to patients in the emergency department.
• Manage holds and collaborate with in-house security as needed.
• Self-schedule shifts, ensuring coverage during evenings and nights.
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday as required.

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENTC certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Ability to read ECG rhythms and perform phlebotomy when needed.
• Navy scrub color/dress code must be adhered to.
