Bartender Position at E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences

The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests of E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences while ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience at the bar. The Bartender creates and serves a wide variety of drinks, maintains a clean and organized bar area, and interacts with guests in a friendly and professional manner. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about cocktails, wine, and other beverages, possesses excellent customer service skills, and is committed to upholding the hotel's high service standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.

Create and maintain an appealing and well-organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with all safety and sanitation standards.

Engage with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, taking orders, offering recommendations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions, processing payments and providing guests with receipts.

Maintain a thorough understanding of the hotel's drink menu, including cocktail recipes, wine selections, and special promotions.

Monitor and restock bar supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and spirits, to ensure seamless and efficient service.

Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, verifying the age of guests and refusing service to those who are visibly intoxicated or underage.

Participate in regular inventory checks, assisting in ordering and receiving bar supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.

Keep up to date with industry trends, new beverage offerings, and drink preparation techniques to enhance the hotel's drink offerings.

Comply with all hotel policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as local and state liquor laws.

Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and seek to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the guest.

Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the hotel's uniform and grooming standards.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

High school or equivalent education required.

One to two (1-2) years of previous bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, or similar establishment preferred.

Must be the minimum age to serve alcohol.

Knowledge of cocktail recipes and mixology techniques.

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Knowledge of beverage and bar equipment maintenance is a plus.

For Employees Based in Washington:

For Employees Based in Colorado:

8 paid holidays per year; employees working in the City of Denver receive 64 hours of designated holiday time per calendar year

For Employees Based in California:

Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service, capped at 1.5x annual accrual rate; non-supervisory employees working in the City of Los Angeles accrue up to 22 days of Compensated Time Off, based on length of service capped at 192 hours of combined PST and CTO.

Paid Sick Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, unused time is carried over from one anniversary year to the next up to a maximum of 80 hours; employees working in the City of Los Angeles are provided 40 hours of Paid Sick Time annually on their anniversary, unused time is not carried over from one anniversary year to the next.
