Test Technician

Entry-level Test EngineerSirius Staffing is seeking an Entry-level Test Engineer for a role in Whitsett, NC. Qualifications include a high school diploma or technical certification, with a bachelor or associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Experience of 1 to 3 years relevant experience is preferred, along with familiarity with ESD-safe handling procedures, strong attention to detail and manual dexterity, basic computer skills for data entry and equipment interface, and the ability to lift and handle components safely. All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.Responsibilities include supporting the test process, co-working with areas to identify root causes, supporting manufacturing areas to understand test designs, developing analysis support on hardware and software, and implementing test codes to ensure manufactured products meet quality, safety, and performance standards. This role supports engineering to implement test processes, working closely with local and global engineers to troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Support test infrastructure, working with production to improve quality and efficiency, and providing feedback for "Design for Test" improvements. Ensure the Test Information Management System (TT Support, Code Mgt, Code Distribution, Server Maintenance) is up-to-date and functioning properly. Configure and support the test architecture/infrastructure, ensuring its 24/7 operation. Support the test plan for NPIs (New Products Introduction) and their life cycle. Support NPI phases on tests for NPI units, ensuring full test compliance. Implement new projects, tools, improvements, test code, etc. Develop and document tools to support the production process. Analyze the test and quality indicators (target) of each job, issuing quality reports. Support the Quality team on their analysis and support the Out of box and Xtend customer test (XCSA). Carry out installation and calibration activities of functional and reliability test equipment.
