Job Title: RN CVOR Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience in the Operating Room Neuro and Ortho/Spine experience Description: This position is for a Travel RN in Cardiovascular Surgery. The unit performs various procedures including Orthopedic, Neuro, Robotics, General, Trauma, and Urology. The unit consists of 7 operating room suites and a staff of approximately 45. Staffing on day shifts typically includes 1 charge RN, 6-7 RNs, 6-7 CSTs, and additional support staff. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:1. The facility utilizes Meditech as their electronic medical record system. Candidates must possess general and trauma OR skills as part of the hiring profile. Experience in Labor & Delivery is not applicable. Preferred qualifications include trauma center experience and orthopedic experience. The best personality fit for this role is a team player with a positive attitude. There are call requirements for this position of about 10 to 15 days per month. Dress code consists of changing into hospital-provided scrubs each day.
