Engineer III - Overhead Transmission Line Design

Position OverviewPower your future with Qualus as an Overhead Transmission Line Engineer on our Transmission Design team. In this role you'll be designing and creating construction drawings for overhead transmission design projects. This position may be based out of the following locations: Del Mar, CA, Lakewood, CO, Vancouver, WA, Salt Lake City, UT, or Reno, NV or Remote.ResponsibilitiesDesign overhead transmission lines in the 69kV to 500kV range.Prepare construction sketches for overhead network services (4 KV through 34 KV). Perform structural analysis and design, perform foundation designs.Model transmission lines in PLS-CADD, determine right of way requirements, calculate conductor sags, and develop transmission line plan and profile drawings.
