Dynamics 365 Functional Lead / Solution ArchitectUrbana, Illinois (Remote)Role OverviewWe are seeking a senior-level Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Functional Lead/Architect to shape and mature a healthcare organization's customer engagement and patient outreach capabilities. This is an architecture-layer role, not a hands-on-keyboard position. You will join a small CRM team and provide the specialist depth needed to define how Dynamics should be built, structured, and used moving forward. The ideal candidate will assess the current environment, create a clear picture of the target state, and serve as a bridge between the IT and marketing organizations.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the architecture-layer lead for Dynamics 365 CE, assessing the current environment, identifying gaps, and defining the target-state design and roadmap.Own data architecture decisions that support data movement, segmentation, and audience building within Dynamics and Customer Insights.Support and accelerate in-flight customer journey and engagement initiatives.Partner with marketing, service line stakeholders, and IT to gather requirements and translate business needs into Dynamics solutions.Help define how CRM data and functionality integrate with the organization's website and digital properties.Act as a trusted advisor across marketing and IT, building a shared understanding of CRM capabilities.Lead requirements workshops, intake, backlog prioritization, and roadmap planning.Provide implementation and project management support, including sequencing work and managing dependencies.Advise on where Power Platform, including Canvas apps, can support internal tooling needs.Support governance, change management, user adoption, and best practices.Required QualificationsDeep, direct Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement experience.Senior/lead-level tenure with multiple years of Dynamics experience.Demonstrated Dynamics implementation experience, including project management.Working depth in model-driven apps beyond surface configuration, including back-end customization, custom process and business logic, and custom scripting.Experience with Dynamics Customer Insights and Customer Journeys / marketing automation.Strong requirements gathering and business analysis skills.Ability to manage stakeholders at both executive and operational levels.Preferred QualificationsPower Platform experience as a complement to Dynamics.Healthcare, health system, or patient engagement background.Solution architecture or product ownership experience.CRM-to-web/CMS integration experience; familiarity with headless CMS or web app architectures.Experience working across marketing and IT organizations where alignment and trust need to be built.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
