They spend the majority of their time in the backroom. They must be able to lift heavy objects exceeding 50 pounds. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts may also be required. For complete job duties and requirements, see the Job Description. What you’ll do Stocking, backroom, and receiving associates work to ensure customers can find all items on their shopping list. Depending on shift, duties may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, or helping customers while stocking shelves. The role is physically demanding, including tasks such as unloading trucks in the summer and filling ice cream in the freezer.
