Job Description Sears Home Improvement is currently recruiting permanent Sales Management Trainees for our Kansas City area. The Sales Management Trainee, Home Improvement partners with the leadership team to complete a fourteen and a half month training program with a focus on becoming a Sales Manager upon successful completion of the program. This position is expected to learn all aspects of the Home Improvement Sales business along with other assigned departments during the fourteen and a half month program. Requirements include the successful completion of all assessments, manager evaluations and knowledge based tests in order to progress to the next assignment. Must display the leadership competencies required for the Sales Manager role upon completion of the program. Tracks will encompass various areas of the Home Improvement business including Sales, Production, Call Center Operations, Business Analytics or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). Upon completion the individual must demonstrate proficiency of all job assignments and be able to assume a Sales Manager role at the end of the fourteen and a half month training period.
