JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Otolaryngologist • Job Type: Full-Time • Location: Columbus, NE • Service Setting: Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Schedule: M–F, 8am – 5pm - 3 Clinic days, 1 Surgery day, 1 Admin Day PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE • Patient Demographics: All ages • Average Daily Volume / Census: 20–30• Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes, as appropriate • Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: General ENT, sinus surgery, hearing, head and neck conditions FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS • Beds in Department/Unit: Part of comprehensive surgical services department • Trauma Designation: Level III trauma center • EMR System: Paragon Allscripts • Specialty Backup: Full specialty and surgical support within hospital system • Support Staff: 1 FT ENT, 1 PT ENT, weekend ENT call coverage, 1 FT NP, 2 RN, 4 LPN, 1 PRN PA (surgical assist)• Leadership & Reporting Structure: Reports to Medical Director, Surgery Department • Reason for Opening: Retirement of long-term ENT
