Assess and determine students' speech-language therapy needs.
Deliver quality therapy services as outlined in students' IEPs.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and participate in team meetings.
Provide training and maintain regular communication with parents.
Complete all necessary documentation and reports.
Participate in staff development and training activities.
Meet regularly with a supervisor to discuss progress and challenges. Qualifications
New York State Certificate as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities.
Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
