Platform Engineer

Job Title Knowledge of Teamcenter enterprise (implementation, configuration, administration, performance & availability, integration and customization), CICD, Linux, containerized software solutions. Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems. Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices and demonstrated skills in developing solutions for services, integrations, build and deploy automation in CI/CD pipelines, and code & product configuration management. Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts with the ability to take ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members. Skilled in core data structures and interfaces for information exchange across platforms, development of programmatic capabilities for all aspects of service operability. Familiarity with Lean and Agile (Rally, Confluence) and knowledge of custom software development lifecycle. Knowledge in general technology systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Proactive, good learnability and application of new technologies, builds on constructive feedback. Good collaboration, communication skills, ability to give clear and concise status updates, good documentation abilities, proactively shares information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness. Comfortable with ambiguity, ability to manage risks, creative and curious. Good decision making, ability to influence stakeholders, good problem-solving abilities. Ability to work across multiple time zones. Ability to attend project status calls and report on status. Occasional EST and weekend support for releases. Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 2 years of professional experience (OR Associates degree with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 7 years of professional experience).
