About the job RN - Behavioral Health Adult Emergency Responsibilities: Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the emergency room Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient needs based on acuity Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Monitor and document patient vital signs and symptoms Assist with diagnostic procedures such as sonography and spinal taps Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and discharge planning Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills to identify emergent patient needs Proficiency in operating medical equipment such as neonatal ventilators Knowledge of dementia care and the ability to provide appropriate support to patients with cognitive impairments Requirements : Two years of Behavioral health experience is required Two years of emergency room experience is required #J-18808-Ljbffr Insignia Global Corporation
