GENERAL FUNCTION The Sales Associate ensures every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters visit, establishing the store as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Consistently deliver sales plan and objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones. Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings. Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements to help customers find the perfect vision solution. Conduct measurements with optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed. Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff. Maintain the store's appearance, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized. Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of retail or customer service experience Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic math skills Embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy Ability to sell using sales skills and meet sales goals Strong communication skills (oral and written) Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a changing environment LensCrafters is part of Luxottica, a leader in designing, manufacturing, and distributing fashion, luxury, and sports eyewear.
