Maintenance Director

As a Maintenance Director at Homestead Health Care Center, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance department and leading a team of employees in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Director to join our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a long-term care facility and a strong understanding of life safety knowledge. This hands-on role requires a combination of leadership, management, and technical skills, with a focus on providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Oversee the maintenance department and lead a team of employees
Utilize management experience, preferably in a long-term care facility with life safety knowledge
Apply general knowledge of heating and air-conditioning
Perform basic construction and repair tasks
Conduct electrical wiring and repair work
Diagnose and repair plumbing issues

Requirements:

This "hands-on" position requires organization and leadership/management experience preferably in a long-term care facility and life safety
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective communication and leadership skills
