Details Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine studies and assists with therapeutic radiopharmaceutical administrations Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM (8-hour shifts) with rotating on-call 40 hours per week, 5 days per week No weekend or holiday shifts required No floating requirements Requirements Minimum of 1 year of relevant Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology or a college diploma in a related field Current BLS (AHA) certification Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear Medicine (IEMA) required; license required if applicable One of the following certifications required: Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT) or ARRT registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) Epic EMR experience required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Serves as a technical resource and subject matter expert for staff, management, and physicians in Nuclear Medicine/PET Oversees patient scheduling and workflow to maximize departmental efficiency Participates in QA/QC programs and directs staff in maintaining accreditation, licensure, and safety standards Assists with developing training programs and evaluating technical skills of staff Aids in the annual review and updates of department policies and protocols Performs on-call duties and variable shifts as assigned to meet department needs Performs coaching with staff and collaborates on workflow organization Candidate interviews are conducted by the facility leader RTO is not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract Contingent workers may not be on continuous assignment for more than 1 year at this health system; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the health system Benefits Premium medical, dental, vision and life insurance beginning day one of your assignment Generous 401(k) match Substantial housing stipends 24/7 support and access to our in-house clinicians #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
