HousekeeperLuxury Senior Living Communities in Kendall, Coral Gables & Homestead is looking for a Housekeeper for its Palace at Coral Gables Luxury Independent Living for Active Adults located at 1 Andalusia Avenue Coral Gables, FL 33134.Best Independent Living Community in the US by the National Associated of Home Builders, 2014.The #1 priority of this position is to maintain a clean, healthy environment for the residents, visitors and staff that promotes good mental and physical health in pleasant surroundings free of litter, germs and debris.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Clean rooms, public areas & restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, offices and other designated areas in and out of the building.Keep the facility clean and free of hazards at all times.Remove trash to designated areas.Ensure equipment and work areas are clean and orderly at all times.Change bed linens daily or as needed.Qualifications:Must have at least 3 years of housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting.A high school degree or equivalent preferred.Must be able to communicate in English. Spanish preferred.The ideal candidate:Is responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.Is flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations.Can work under pressure and multi-task.Is self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.Demonstrates excellent verbal communications, interpersonal skills and empathetic listening.
