• Hours/Week: 36 hours
• Employment Type: Contract (Travel Nursing)
• Licenses/Certs: Current ACLS & BLS Certifications required
• Experience: 1+ year of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience; experience with patient ratios of 1:5/6; Epic EMR experience preferred; LTAC experience not required but advantageous

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $53.60

What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality clinical care to LTAC patients in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Respond to emergencies and participate in team-based patient care activities
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

What You Need:

• Required:
  • Valid RN license in Louisiana or appropriate compact license
  • ACLS & BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing experience in an LTAC or similar setting
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, managing a 1:5/6 patient ratio
  • Experience with Epic EMR software
• Preferred:
  • Prior LTAC experience
  • Experience with wound care, drain management, Foleys, and narco administration
  • Willingness to be flexible for emergency team assignments and unit needs
