Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist Location: Methuen, MA Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm with rotating Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications Current or previous LabCorp experience. 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Pay Range: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
