Quality Control Manager (Federal Construction)

Location: Fort Polk, LA Type: Contract / Contract-to-Hire Pay: ~$60/hour and per diem (flexible) Overview Seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee quality control activities on federal construction projects. The QCM will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the project's quality control program, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and government standards. Responsibilities Manage the project Quality Control Program from start to finish. Conduct Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up (Three-Phase Control) inspections. Review contract documents, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings. Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, and government representatives. Maintain QC documentation, reports, and deficiency logs. Track corrective actions and ensure quality standards are met. Participate in progress meetings and client reviews. Requirements 5+ years of Quality Control experience on federal construction projects. Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, VA, or other federal agencies. Strong knowledge of Three-Phase Control processes. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and submittals.
