Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment. The technologist will support radiologists in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and will be responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS. This position is based in Passaic, NJ at a hospital setting.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of a JRCNMT- or CAMRT-accredited nuclear medicine technology program, associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology preferred.
• Current state nuclear medicine license (e.g., CDPH) or ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist in an acute clinical radiology setting required.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to process and transmit images to PACS.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment and extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00-15:00.
