Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital (travel - temporary assignment)
Weekly pay: 2,081 to 2,099 USD per week
Guaranteed hours: none

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to PCU patients, including monitoring, medication administration, and ongoing assessment of clinical status
- Manage critical care needs within the PCU, including CRRT and BiPAP support as required
- Facilitate procedures such as lab draws, chest tubes, and PICC line care; operate independently on relevant tasks
- Open-heart post-operative care day 1 responsibilities for patients with pacer wires; participate in codes and resuscitation as needed
- Float to ICU and all inpatient units (Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, ED) based on unit needs; collaborate with the health care team and call on own consults
- Manage patient documentation in EPIC; communicate changes to the care team and physicians
- Weekend scheduling: every other weekend; on-call status: none

Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license or Compact RN license; BLS and ACLS; NIHF certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/Intensive Care experience
- Experience with CRRT, BiPAP, drawing labs, chest tubes, and PICC lines
- Open-heart day 1 experience with pacer wires
- Ability to float to ICU and inpatient units; comfortable with codes and autonomous nurse-led consults
- Willingness to work every other weekend; no on-call requirement
