Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

$2203.20/week -

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients in a busy hospital setting. This role involves floating to multiple facilities, including ED and ICU, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and compliance with hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer and monitor respiratory therapies, including ventilator management and oxygen delivery.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
  
  
• 
  Operate and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment such as V-60, Servo-i, and Vapotherm.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress accurately using EPIC EMR and adhere to clinical documentation standards.
  
  
• 
  Respond to emergency situations, providing critical care in trauma and emergency departments.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all certification requirements, including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and licensure.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess a valid GA Respiratory Care Professional license and current RRT certification.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years recent Pediatric Respiratory Therapy experience, including vent management.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC charting and advanced respiratory devices.
  
  
• 
  Have current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA-approved).
  
  
• 
  Show ability to work night shifts, including holidays and weekends, with minimal RTO.
  
  
• 
  Possess a strong understanding of Level I Trauma protocols and pediatric emergency care.
