Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist position in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient radiation therapy services to adult and pediatric patients, with a focus on treatments such as Varian TrueBeam, SBRT, DIBH, IMRT, and IGRT. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to facility protocols to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Required Qualifications: Licensure in Washington State, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, one year of experience as a Radiation Therapist, and valid licensure in Washington.
• Skills and Experience: Experience with Varian TrueBeam, SBRT, DIBH, IMRT, IGRT; patient monitoring; accurate treatment plan interpretation. HDR and HyperArc experience preferred.
• Support on the Unit: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) support (ratio unspecified), receptionist/Human Resources Coordinator, charge nurse, phlebotomy, resource nurse, hospitalist, telemetry monitoring.
• Technology/Equipment: EPIC/ARIA electronic medical record systems, IV pumps, two LINACs (Clinacix Truebeam).
• Float: No float rotation required.
• Orientation: Schedule details not specified.
• Transportation & Parking: Parking close to the facility and free.
• Additional notes: Flexible scrub color or business casual attire with lab coat.
