Combined with our rich competitive benefit package and the rewarding work we do for the environment make MarBorg a great place to work!Position SummaryThe Semi Driver-End Dump is responsible to operate a Semi with an End Dump trailer to transport concrete and dirt to various locations. We are looking for drivers with a high degree of professionalism, a positive attitude, and a willingness to do a safe, quality, and efficient job.Duties And ResponsibilitiesInclude but are not limited to the following:Conduct daily pre-trip & post-trip inspections. Complete and submit vehicle condition reports at the end of the shift.Operates Semi with an end dump trailer to transport concrete and dirt to various locations in a safe & efficient manner.Maneuver truck into and out of minimum clearance spaces, using mirrors to back distances up to approximately 120 feet.Uses extreme caution when turning corners while operation the Semi with an End Dump Trailer.Operates hoist and lift equipment on vehicle.Utilize tarp to cover loads.Tarps all loads, climb inside trailer secure load.Secures and verifies correct connections to king pin and fifth wheel assembly, air, and hydraulic lines before each route start and before each trailer swap.Courteously interact with customers to answer questions or respond to requests and notify supervisor of any issues requiring management action.Maintains communication with Recycling Yard Facility Supervisor to work efficiently.Must use tablet to service the work orders that have been assigned by the dispatcher.Reports incidents immediately to Department Supervisor.Scan customer site before and after dumping.Must be flexible to work early hours.Attend weekly mandatory safety meetings.Maintains a clean truck.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
