Medical Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Odessa, TX. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office and high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical histories. Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures. Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens as needed. Administer medications and injections under physician supervision. Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records accurately. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus. Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. This position is based in a medical office setting in Odessa, TX.
