Financial Analyst (Contract)

Location: Chaska, MN (Onsite training; Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Pay Rate: $41 Per Hour Schedule: 40 hours per week Travel: None Local candidates only

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support Finance leadership with monthly reporting, financial analysis, and forecasting activities. This is a temporary role focused on manual reporting processes and data analysis during monthly and month-end close cycles.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and experience reviewing financial statements such as P&L reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and month-end financial reporting activities
• Support ad hoc reporting requests from Finance leadership
• Perform financial analysis to support modeling and business forecasting
• Gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize data for operating forecasts
• Input and manage financial data across internal systems
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting
• Identify inconsistencies or discrepancies in financial data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
• 2–5+ years of finance or accounting experience
• Experience in R&D and/or manufacturing environments preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, formulas)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Solid understanding of financial statements, including P&L analysis
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

• Required onsite during initial training period
• Hybrid schedule thereafter (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
• Reports directly to Finance leadership
